Starting a business is one of the most exciting—and vulnerable—things you can do. For us, the idea of Brik lived in conversation long before it became something real. As siblings working in design and marketing, we’d often say things like:
“If this were ours, we’d do it differently.”
“We could build something clearer, simpler, more geniune.”
And then, one holiday season, that familiar what-if finally became a why-not. The timing felt right. The vision felt shared. And suddenly, the idea wasn’t a maybe anymore—it was a plan.
So we took the leap. And Brik was born.
Starting a studio isn’t just about branding and business plans—it’s about belief. Belief in your skills. Belief in your perspective. Belief that there are people out there looking for exactly what you offer.
That belief has to be chosen every day—especially on the days when it’s hard, when the to-do list is long, and when imposter syndrome sneaks in. (Because it does. For everyone.)
We’re learning as we go. But a few things are already clear:
We started Brik because we believe small teams deserve great tools, clear messaging, and design that actually works. Not just branding—but systems, onboarding, proposals, emails, user flows, and everything in between.
We want to help our clients work smarter, show up stronger, and feel more confident in what they’re building. Brik by brik. And we want this blog—and our newsletter—to reflect that same spirit: short, thoughtful notes that make you pause, reframe, or feel just a little more seen. Whether you’re a founder, a marketer, or a curious creator, we’re glad you’re here.
We’re not just building a business—we’re building something sustainable, intentional, and human. And we’re so excited to share what we’re learning along the way.
